What is Paypal?

Answer:
Paypal is an online payment service
which takes payment from numerous countries around the world, similar to an online bank.

E-bay now owns Paypal, and it’s used to transfer payment from one party to another without requiring any secure financial information to be shared.  Once you have a Paypal account, only you can access it, and only you can send payment off to someone else.  Paypal claims to have numerous anti-fraud services at work to keep your information safe.  They also offer a buyers’ protection plan which allows people to stop payment.  They provide sellers’ services, as well, including suggestions for settling complaints and to avoid fraud within businesses.

They are currently working to help prevent identity theft and phishing fraud.  Those who use Paypal can send money immediately (either using Paypal balances, bank accounts or credit cards), and all they need is an e-mail address or phone number.  Paypal has made online business much easier and more secure.
