The Small Business Administration (SBA) is an
agency of the United States federal government that exists for the purposes of helping American entrepreneurs start, build, and grow small business entities. 


The SBA provides a number of services, resources, and tools designed to help small businesses succeed and thrive at every stage of their growth and development.  The SBA provides start-up resources such as free online training and guidelines for writing and effective business plan.  The SBA also offers financial assistance, grants and contracting opportunities to America’s small business owners.  The SBA’s operates district and regional offices throughout the country and also provides funding to Women’s Business Centers (WBC) and Small Business Development Centers (SBDC).
