What is an Annual Report?

Answer:
An annual report is a yearly report that provides
details of a corporation’s financial position. Publicly traded corporations are required to publish audited annual reports every  year.

Annual reports are created the end of each fiscal year and are filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). SEC regulations also mandate that publicly traded corporations distribute their annual reports to all shareholders.

Annual reports must include the company’s statement of cash flows, balance sheet, and income statements. They also provide detailed information about company operations. Companies often include marketing oriented information in their annual reports, in addition the financial details that they are legally obligated to include.
